Russian Journalist Mocks American pseudo-Marxists

My, how times have changed.

Pravda, once the official mouthpiece of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union, has published an article sharply critical of the downward spiral towards Marxism in the United States. The article originally appeared in the blog of Stanislav Mishin, a Russian blogger, and was later re-printed in Pravda.

Mishin’s article argues what many, including myself, have opined for a while, and does so in a very clear and concise way. Below, I provide an excerpt from his article

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different “branches and denominations” were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another.

The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

Can we really doubt the signs happening in America today? American culture, in the name of freedom, has degenerated to the discontented wailing of malcontented fools, or otherwise resembles something savage and vulgar. The 1,500 cults known as “Protestantism,” and even “cafeteria Catholicism” have perverted the worship of God and His commandments beyond recognition, bending it to fit a range of immoral and decadent lifestyles.

Americans clearly worship their freedom as a false idol, and just as these idols could do nothing to save the idolaters, so to, all of America’s supposed and ephemeral freedoms will betray them, eventually.  The majority of Americans do not realize that their immoral, decadent, and permissive society is destined to fall, just as the statue of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream.
